Before we can begin to answer what our services are we need to convey that which means most to us; our company philosophy. Our philosophy is to provide solutions that not only work, but work well.

This role has lead us to be the only company in the United Kingdom that specialises in creating new structural floors in old buildings which include a sophisiticated water based underfloor heating system. On the face of it this feat sounds simple; however, ensuring maximum heat output is achieved without compromising floor finishes or integrity has been a long and challenging journey.
In 2009 we became members of the Stone Federation of Great Britain, an official trade association for natural stone which provides it's members as well as the construction industry with a comprehensive knowledge base for all things stone based. This movement was to reinforce our main objective - to provide floor finish guarantees on delicate floor finishes such as marble and limestone on our underfloor heating heating systems.

How are Jupiter different from the rest?
Unlike other manufacturers of underfloor heating solutions we do not use screed. To many this creates uncertainty as it isn't seen as the norm, yet with our knowledge we've developed the Screed Replacement Tile (SRT). The advantages of the SRT system are vast; ultra strong, low height (20mm), dry installed, 24 hours curing time, fast heat response - the list goes on. With the SRT being only 20mm in height, the tongue and grooves make the system truly unique in building terms. In turn, this makes us the only people to provide such a solution.

The Screed Replacement Tiles can be used in all building types and for all floor finishes. The inert property of the tiles mean that it has similar expansion properties to that of a natural stone floor finish, making the SRT a perfect substrate without the need for movement joints or decoupling membranes.

In keeping with our belief of avoiding wet trades in our floor constructions we employ the user of dry installed materials to fill voids and balance floor heights and levels. Large voids of up to 500mm can be filled with TECHNOpor® glass foam aggregate and
the fine levelling down to the millimetre can be achieved with Jupiter's unique dehydrated granulated slate.
The testing and approval of Jupiter's products
In 2011 Jupiter commissioned the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in Watford to undertake full scale deflection tests. This process involved the construction of a 64 square metre test model our our IDEAL EPS panels and Screed Replacement Tile system.

Two tests were completed successfully;
1) A successful deflection of 50mm without failure on just the IDEAL EPS and SRT system.
2) A successful deflection of 32mm without failure on 600 x 600 x 20mm Portuguese Limestone tiles laid onto the SRTs.
Ecofriendly underfloor heating
We are the only manufacturer in the world that has developed a panel based underfloorheating system made from waste wood fibres. As well as having excellent green credentials and a low GWP figure it has excellent acoustic performances. Thermally they are similar to their polystyrene counterpart and complete with integral aluminium diffuser plates.
